{self arranged packing & shipping or free in house pick up} Wood Stand 23" Wide , 4" Tall, 12' deep. Bronze 17 1/4" Tall, 13" Long, 8" Deep. Total Weight 27 Pounds. 3 Piece Casting Elephant And 2 Tigers On Live Edge Wood Stand. A fine quality late 19th century Meiji period Japanese bronze elephant and tiger group by A Japanese animalier sculptor. This bronze depicts a finely chased elephant with trunk aloft as he tries to fight off his attackers, one tiger on his back, the other at his feet, the tigers are finely patinated to create the stripes of the animals, with artist Mark to underside.
