Legal Description: The East Half of the South East Quarter, (E1/2SE1/4) Section 5, Township 96 N., Range 43 W. of the 5th p.m., Sioux County, Iowa. This farm contains 80 acres M/L.
General Description: This farm offers 80 acres of unimproved farmland, with an excellent location between Sheldon, Hospers, and Boyden. The FSA records indicate 77.62 cropland acres with the balance being road and ditch. There's a corn base of 38.5 acres with a PLC yield of 168 bushel per acre. There's a soybean base of 38.5 acres with a PLC yeild of 51 bushel per acre. The CSRII (Corn Suitability Rating) on this farm is an outstanding 98.8 and the CSRI is 75.5. Predominant soil types are Galva, Primghar and Marcus. This farm is classified non-HEL, and is enrolled in the farm program. 2023 crop election was ARC on corn and beans.
