This is a restored fully operational M5A1 Stuart Tank. Tank was purchased in 2001 by owner and restored by owner. Tank has
A. Engines re-built.
B. New Fuel Tanks built and installed
C. Radiators re-built
D. Pony motor re-built
E. New track pads with modern rubber made and installed
F. Hydraulic pump re-worked and fully functional for turret operation.
G. Functioning radios installed.
H. Includes Pioneer tools, tow cable, top machine gun mount, front fender machine gun mount, radio antenna.
I. New rubber installed on idler and Boogie Wheels.
J. Interior of tank re-painted.
k. Serviced on a regular basis
l. Seller has several crates of spare parts for Stuart Tanks and a spare engine. These are being sold separate from the tank in another lot.


Tank History. Tank was produced in US and was used in Portugal, then was sold to the Canadian Army who was using Stuarts to train tankers up to 1980. Tanks were sold off and was sold to a collector in Georgia and then to a Collector in North Carolina and then finally to the present owner in 2001.
