Item Details
From the Raymond Dhue collection - widely known throughout the AMCA as 'Gentleman Ray' this original and unrestored bike is in excellent condition. Just 250 'Royal Wedding' Bonnevilles were built. The 125 US bikes had special finishes which were different than the 125 UK bikes that were built to commemorate the 1981 marriage of Lady Diana Spencer and Prince Charles. Some of the 'Royal Wedding' Bonnevilles exported to the USA had a black/gold-line finish specified by Triumph Motorcycles America while others had chromed tanks. All retained the Fleur de Lys symbols of the Prince of Wales on their side panel badges, which you will see on this bike. This bike is in running condition but has not been started recently.
