There is nothing minor about this Himstedt-described "little girl from Nepal"; from her statuesque 26" size, to the fame of her creator Annette Himstedt, "Kumari" borders on epic. Part of Himstedt's 2005 "World's Children Summit" collection, Kumari, a limited worldwide edition of 377 wears a shoulder wrap trimmed with real Tibetan lamb skin and carries an Bhutan satchel made of antique Bhutan tapestry that is a unique treasure in itself. The leather shoes are designed authentically of the region. "Kumariu" has an art vinyl head and limbs, soft cloth body, blown glass eyes, and semi-hand-knotted human hair in multiple braids with ribbon decorations.
