Illinois Residents May Not Participate In This Lot (Illinois Banned Item). This semi-automatic Polish AKMS style AK-47 rifle is built on a Nodak Spud receiver primarily with original Polish parts. The receiver is marked with the Circle "11" stamp on the left side indicating that it was built at the Radom Munitions Factory. SPECS: 16" Barrel with 2" ported muzzle break, underfolding metal stock, brown synthetic pistol grip, wooden handguard, adjustable folding rear battle sight, front post sight with ears, sling ring and (1) 30-round steel magazine. CONDITION: This gun is in nice condition with light wear, has a sharp/ clean bore and appears to be in good working order. HISTORY: The AK-47 family of firearms are gas-operated assault rifles originally developed in the Soviet Union by Russian small-arms designer Mikhail Kalashnikov in 1945. The "AK-47" family has many different variants and sub-models and is one of the most popular and widely used firearms in the world. In 1966, Poland made some redesigns to their AK as the Krotki Bojowy Karabin Automatyczny Kalasznikowa, much better known as the KBK. This rifle looks like a common AKM from the late 60s with an underfolding stock. The underfolding mechanism is known for its extremely robust design and excellent lock-up. Poland also continued to produce traditional and high quality AKs over the years as the UF. One mark of a true Polish AK to look for is the Circle 11 stamp on the left side of the trunnion showing that the rifle was built in the Radom Munitions factory. DISCLAIMER: This gun will need to be picked up by, or shipped to, a Federal Firearms Licensed dealer. FREE SHIPPING & NO PROCESSING FEES.
