Considered the best and finest made AK-type rifle ever produced, the Valmet line was the first civilian AK Model imported into this country from Finland. This example features a stamped receiver and a fixed wood stock. They were manufactured from 1976 to 1986 and importation was banned in 1989 which means there aren’t a whole lot of these in the US. They featured the highest quality fit and finish of any AK-47. Finished in military matte finish. Features black composite forend and pistol grip, a three-pronged flash hider on the muzzle, one prong carrying a bayonet lug. The foresight is a hooded, adjustable post, while the rear sight is an aperture type protected by two wings. S# 70803a mfg. 1943 and matching on frame, slide, and barrel | Marked with WaA140 on both pistol, and on magazine | Fixed Front/Rear sights | During the German occupation of Belgium the FN factory produced around 319,000 Browning Hi-Power 35’s or Pistole 640(b) for the German army. By 1944, the production stopped due to the liberation of the factory by the allied forces. The third and last model produced are marked with the WaA140 which also indicates the Arms-Inspector mark of Lüttich. At the beginning of 1943 the Germans introduced an entirely new serial code numbering system. Starting at 1a until number 99999a. Most of these were issued to Waffen-SS and Fallschirmjäger Personnel. |||| Condition: Good. Finish on pistol has faded and shows hints of buffing. Markings are still legible. Mfg. circa 1896-1898 | 28” Solid Rib Damascus barrels marked "Charles Daly Fine Damascus Barrels" | 13.5” Length of Pull (LOP) | The water table is Marked "Prussia" and has the cross pistol mountings underneath the barrel with HAL for Heinrich A. Lindner underneath which makes this quite the desirable shotgun. The Scalloped Anson & Deeley top lever action shotgun with figured walnut and accent engraving features crossbolt action, cocking indicators, extractors, double triggers, and teardrops on both side of stock |||| History: Heinrich A. Lindner was a gunmaker in Suhl, Prussia (which is now Germany). Lindner took Westley Richards brilliant Anson & Deeley shotgun action, tweaked it, and made it his own. H.A. Lindner of Suhl, Prussia made less than 3000 shotguns with the Charles Daly name which were imported into North America from 1870s through WWI. Prussian Dalys are among the best SxS guns ever made, and the Prussian Dalys by H. A. Lindner (often misspelled Linder) are perhaps as good as a Purdy, Boss, or Holland & Holland |||| Condition: Very Good. A good amount of the original case color hardening is still present, I would say around 60% on sides and top with more thinning on the underside. The wood stock is excellent with great finish, and checkering. Equipped with a Jostam Anti-flinch recoil pad. Barrels show a bit of the original brown finish over the damascus pattern. Bores are both bright and shiny with a small ding that's 5” from the muzzle, inside the right barrel. Shotgun mechanically functions with nice tight lockup. |||| CLASS: ANTIQUE

It is tube fed through the metal butt stock. Everything is here and included in the factory green cloth covered case. Not many manuals are still found with these rifles so having the original manual is quite rare, and to top it all off, the sling as well. Comes with a Tasco scope with manual for that as well. A total of 8,000 of these rifles were manufactured in 1979 and only 3,000 were imported into the US. The other 5,000 were kept for the Italian military. |||| Condition: Excellent, Like New.
