Lot of Three (3) German WWII Leuchtpistole 34 Single Shot Flare Pistols, 26.5mm smoothbore cal., 6" round barrels with octagonal chambers, duralumin construction with anodized finish, checkered dark red bakelite grips with steel lanyard rings on butt of grips. No sights. Break-open actions with lever releases. All are marked "Waffenfabrik Walther Zella-Mehlis(Thur)/Walther Banner/1937" on left side frames. Right side frames, barrels, etc, stamped with "(eagle)359" and "(crown)B,U,& G" inspection stamps. #1 and #2 have matching numbers on frame and barrel. #3 has mismatched numbers: 1) #3267c. Condition is good, the metal retaining approx. 50% gold-toned finish, showing scratches and edgewear. Grips are good with chips and areas of flattening to the checkering. Bore rates good with toning that may clean better. Action locks up and operates smoothly. 2) #8221c. Condition is fair. There is a large "IV" carved into the left side of the frame and a circular shape scratched into the right side of the barrel; balance of the metal retains approx. 60% of its finish, showing edgewear and scratches. Grips are very good with areas of flattening to the checkering. Bore rates good with light patina toward the muzzle. Action locks up and operates smoothly. 3) #7970c. Condition is fair. Left side frame has impact marks that have obliterated the "3" in "1937". Metal retains approx. 60% finish, with edgewear and losses to both sides of the barrel which is now bent into an oblong shape at the muzzle. Bore rates as poor with patina.
