.265 caliber, 3.5" octagonal barrel, S/N 6847, Blue finish with walnut grips.  Marked on top of the barrel with Colt's Address.  This revolver is in a factory mahogany casing with flask , mold, can of percussion caps and cleaning rod.  The case is almost mint with original maroon lining, flask is mint and the mold is like new.  The revolver retains nearly all of the bright original blue finish.  The lever and and hammer retain all of the bright case colors.  This entire set has a nice even flow to it and is about as good as it gets.
