AUCTION TERMS:
Buyer's Premium on all items:
10% on items under $1,000
1% on items over $1,000
1% Online Buyer's premium
Applicable sales tax will be collected, unless a tax-exempt form is on file with RTI.
All bills must be paid in full within 48 hours of sale closing either by cash, credit card, check or wire transfers. Payment made with a credit card will incur an additional 2% convenience fee.
NOTICE: All Bidders attending this sale agree that they have read and had full knowledge of these terms and agree to be bound thereby.
IDENTIFICATION: All bidders are required to give their full name, address, phone number, and email address. A valid credit card (Visa or MasterCard) is also required.
COMPLIANCE WITH TERMS OF SALE: In default of payment of bills in full
within the time therein specified, the auctioneer in addition to all other
remedies allowed by law may retain all monies received as deposit or
otherwise, as liquidated damages. Lots not paid for and removed within the
time allowed herein may be resold at public or private sale without further
notice, and any deficiency, together with all expenses and charges of re-sale,
will be charged to the defaulting purchaser.
SALES TAX: Purchaser shall also pay all applicable New York Sales Taxes.
Buyers from outside the State of NY will be exempt from sales tax if they provide proof, an approved tax exemption status form and exception certificates that are acceptable to the State of NY.
BIDDERS: Bidders are to be held personally liable for any bids made with their Bidding Number.
RECORDS: The record of sale kept by the auctioneer and bookkeeper will
be taken as final in the event of any dispute.
DISPUTE BETWEEN BIDDERS: If any dispute arises between two or more bidders, the auctioneer may put the lot up for sale again at once, and resell it to the highest bidder. The auctioneer’s decision shall be final and absolute.
REMOVAL: All purchases must be removed within 1-week. Removal shall be at the expense, risk, and liability of the purchaser.
The auction company will have the option to remove and store any item not removed within the time allowed at the expense and risk of the purchaser.
RESPONSIBILITY FOR NON-DELIVERY: Auctioneer accepts no liability for loss or damage whatsoever arising (including but not limited to cost of attendance of Bidders at the auction) from any lots not presented for sale.
RISK TO PERSON AND PROPERTY: Persons attending during exhibition,
sale or removal of goods assume all risks of damage of or loss to person and
property and specifically release the auctioneer from liability therefore.
Neither the auctioneer nor his principal shall be liable by reason of any defect
in or condition of the premises on which the sale is held.
THE AUCTIONEER has described the lots in this catalog to the best of their ability and belief from information furnished by the vendor who shall alone be responsible for any error or misstatement, which there be. The Auctioneer undertakes no liability whatever with respect to any faults, deficiencies, and errors of any description, oral or printed, nor do they accept responsibility for the authenticity, genuineness, origin, age, condition, or quality of any lot and all statements as to these matters whether contained in the catalog or made orally are statements of opinion only and not to be taken as being or implying a statement or representation of fact.
EACH LOT is sold as seen. The Auctioneer provides no guarantees or warranties (express or implied) with respect to the equipment contained in the lot. All representations made by the Auctioneer, agents are to be considered lay opinions only and the Auctioneer accepts no liability for any purchase made by a Buyer in reliance upon them.
